Artists Residency Programme

The Foundation organizes ‘Residency Programme’ for shortlisted artists throughout the year. The Programmes are organized at campuses located at Manesar, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Noida. The Amity Art Foundation provides logistical and financial support to each participating artist in the Residency Programme. Some students pursuing Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts also support and work with these artists in their creative pursuits at respective locations. The participating artists in previous Residency Programme are Ajay Chakradhar, Anjali Goel, Suraj Kumar Kashi, Birender Yadav, Prittam Priyalochan, Stitadhi Rath, Sujata Agarwal, Ranjeet Singh, Prasanta and Chhitij Sahu. It gives artists an opportunity to work in serene surroundings and conducive environment that support aesthetics sense and creative expressions. Students pursuing Fine Arts learn from professional and established artists and receive hands-on training to enhance their creative skills, thought process and expressions.

Smart Cities Art Cities

Smart cities must incorporate infrastructure requirements for the Creative Industries in their blueprint to include downtown arts precincts featuring museums, galleries, performing arts spaces, libraries, visitor centres, designated areas for preservation of heritage, restaurants and bars.

This thematic plenary would set the tone of proceedings with imminent goals for India’s Smart Cities which should have the arts both in their DNA and development agenda.
